Background on Haw Par Villa:
"Haw Par Villa is a theme park located along Pasir Panjang Road, Singapore. The park contains over 1,000 statues and 150 giant dioramas depicting scenes from Chinese mythology, folklore, legends, history and illustrations of various aspects of Confucianism. The park, originally called Tiger Balm Gardens, was built in 1937 by the Burmese-Chinese brothers Aw Boon Haw and Aw Boon Par, the developers of Tiger Balm, as a venue for teaching traditional Chinese values."

However, there are currently renovation works going on. Some parts are blocked for renovation.

Below are the pictures we took:

The water dried up :/

There're like turtles inside the very muddy water.

I have always wanted to visit Haw Par Villa because it seems pretty interesting from the outside.
You rarely see this kind of sculptures in Singapore.
However, due to the heavy amount of construction that is going on,
I don't think it is advisable to visit the place right now. You wouldn't get much out of that trip.
I feel kind of disappointed with the place.
I mean I know that it was constructed way before I was even born, there will be definitely wear and tear but there are really a lot of touching up and cleaning up to be done :/
Anyway, I hope that all these helps! (:
